FAQ

Do you provide receipts?

I will provide you a receipt following Nursing Foot Care. Some insurance companies cover all or some of my services. You may submit the rest on income tax.

What forms of payment

do you accept?

At the Spa, I accept cash, debit and credit cards.  During home visits I prefer cheque then cash.

Can I book a home visit?

I prefer my clients come see me at the Spa as it is extra work for me to prepare my cart.  It also takes away from me seeing other clients in the day due to the travel, set up and clean up time.  However, I do understand there are circumstances that this may not work. Please contact me to speak further. There will be a traveling charge.

Do I book for Nursing Foot Care or a Pedicure?

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse who is licensed with SALPN, my regulatory body. I must comply and work within my scope of practice, policies, and procedures set out by SALPN. I work closely with the general practitioners in Esterhazy and podiatrists in Regina. I took an intense advanced foot care course in Moose Jaw in 2019. I am also a member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses. I work with clients who suffer from thickened nails, deformed nails, calluses, corns, dry feet, ingrown nails, diabetics, and more.

My pedicure course allows me to provide similar treatments, except with less severe cases and in a more relaxing way. My clients still receive nail trimming and filing, care of minor calluses, corns and dry feet. They also receive a massage to the feet and lower legs.  Optional services are polishes and paraffin wax.

What's the difference between regular and gel polish?

The main difference between gel vs regular nail polish is that gel polish needs to be cured under a UV or LED lamp, while regular nail polish is dried naturally. The removal process is time consuming, but if you come for regular manicures removal is simple! Benefits of gel polish are it is chip free, long-lasting, won't smudge, no nail damage like fake nails cause, can decrease the chance of nail biting, more options for nail art and more.
